Programs & Services Offered
Feed My People, since its beginning in 1982, has shown compassion to all God’s people, particularly His people in need. From the humble beginning with just a bag of groceries, the Help Center continues to provide both food and hope to the people that walk through our doors in need of help.
Food is the primary concern with statistics showing that 1 in 9 children go to bed hungry each night. Feed My People also offers Emergency Food Assistance when requested.
Food Pantry
Feed My People clients, with income at or below poverty level and most receiving SNAP aid, receive food for 3 meals per day for 3 days per each family member, at each bi-monthly visit.
Personal Care items plus household cleaning supplies are given as requested.
Our food pantries now operate as “client choice pantries”. Just as you would in a grocery store our clients get to pick out the foods that they wat to eat. Eliminating waste and offering more dignity to those in need.
Transformation Program
For those clients who qualify, we provide discount cards or vouchers for items in our thrift stores, helping with appropriate clothing for a new job or an interview, warm clothing in the winter, or everyday essentials.
